Shout Outs!! ENYDCTA Wins 3 USDF 2023 Awards!! Best Creative GMO-Sponsored Program!! Submitted for the Linda Zang instructor’s clinic in November 2022, this award recognizes the hard work put forth by ENYDCTA to engage members and grow the sport. The award was scored on the following 3 criteria; a new and different program from other GMO’s offered in the past, appealing to the general membership, and promoting dressage and goodwill toward the sponsoring organization. Best Overall Website Layout and Design for a GMO with 75-174 members!! Recognized for the hard work that goes into every website, this award was scored on 9 criteria including; ease of navigation, GMO/membership information, promotion of local horse community and aesthetics. Many thanks to Peter Tkaczyk and Jen Symon for their work on our website this past year!! Rita Moore – Region 8 Volunteer of the Year!! Recognized for her dedication to volunteerism. Her tireless efforts and commitment have left an indelible mark on ENYDCTA and our equine community! Congratulations and thank you Rita!!! GMO award winners will be announced and receive their plaques at the Board of Governors (BOG) General Assembly, on Saturday, December 2nd, during the 2023 Adequan®/USDF Annual Convention Congratulations to everyone involved in the work involved in these activities and a special shout out to Joy Black for submitting these for awards consideration! – well done everyone! Club member Kathyrn Stoddard and her horse Marumba completed their Century Ride, sponsored by The Dressage Foundation, at the ENYDCTA Schooling Show #2 on August 20th. A Century Ride is for a horse and rider whose combined ages total 100 years or more. Kathryn is 79 and Marumba is 21, giving them a combined age of 100! Congratulations!!!!
