Part One of Equine Legal Issues - Fiona Farrell, Esq.
Secrets of Equine Contracts
Have you ever signed a contract to do with horses or riding? Have you
ever wondered what was in it? What rights and responsibilities were you
really agreeing to? Have you wondered if a stray word has created a
contract? What if you’re unhappy with a contract?
Contracts are as varied as horses and riders are. Talking can make a
contract. Habit can. A text or email thread can. Most formal is a written
document. We’ll talk about all of them.
We’ll talk about the relationship a contract creates. What role does the
human factor play in contracts – such as expectations, communications?
Please bring your questions, concerns, and experiences. This talk is for
you. The more interactive the better.
