Registration

• 1.Organizers
  Someone to take responsibility to organize the event, find volunteers, and make sure everything is covered using the planner guide w/ a checklist. With 2 organizers it would make it easier to divide and conquer. It is helpful if you have a strong sense of responsibly and prepare early so that there is less stress for all involved.
• 1a. Website event editor
  This will be a position for someone that has training in the website system. You will connect with the organizer to find out the details needed to create the event.
• 2. Before the event secretary before the clinic
  Receives all the registrants required documents (vaccs/coggins), payments, and registration information before the start of the clinic. Does not include being the day secretary but could if you would like!
• 2a. Before the event delivery of clinic supplies.
  Someone to pick up our clinic supplies (banners, chairs, table, speaker system, etc) & deliver them to the clinic site.
• 2b. Before the event set up.
  Hang banners, set up secretary check in table, make sure speaker is working. 2 people would be perfect. Help owner of facility mark off a place for auditors to sit.
• 3. Day of Event, Host & Check in Secretary
  Checks in riders and clarifies any outstanding items at check-in (release, payment, vaccs, coggins). 99% of this is taken care of by the before event secretary so there is not much to do the day of in this regard.
  Help with lunch set up if needed.
  Helps ring stewart with headsets for speaker system & to make sure auditors can hear clinician if ring steward needs help. Take pictures of auditors, riders, & volunteers and send to Facebook and website organizers. Need 1 person for the day or 2 people to each split the day. Sign up even if position filled so that we have back-up in case of an emergency.
• 3a. Lunch person
• 3b. Ring Steward & Xtra pair of hands
  Help keep the ring moving & assist riders putting on their headsets for speaker & WHIS. Help secretary with check in, speaker system, parking. Make sure auditors can hear clinician teach & let the clinician know if her headset needs to be adjusted. Basically you will be an extra pair of hands to help out as a ring steward & to help day secretary in ways they are needed as things come up. Sign up even if you are on the waitlist so we have back up in case of an emergency cancelation.
• 4. End of Day Pack-up.
  This doesn't take long & very helpful.
• 4a. After the event delivery of supplies
  Delivery of supplies to the next event or to storage in Delanson
• 5a. Junior volunteer position 9/27: 8:30 - 12:30
  This is for juniors and you'll be an assistant helper on day of event
• 5b. Junior volunteer position 9/27: 12:30 - 5:00 PM
